Mostafa Mazen, MD, PhD, FRCS is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Mazen completed his medical education and ophthalmology residency at the University of Cairo in Egypt, where he earned master’s and PhD degrees. Mazen then joined the faculty at Cairo University as a lecturer. 
He completed his cornea fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Mazen is also a fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. Mazen joined the faculty at the University at Buffalo/Ross Eye Institute in January 2020.
