We are excited to welcome two new physicians to the Ross Eye Institute team. Dr. Brian Madow joined our team as a Retina Surgeon and our Director of Retina Service and Dr. Kevin Donohue as our newest Optometrist. Both physicians will see patients at all three of our Erie County locations.

Meet Dr. Brian Madow our Director of Retina Services. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Scheie Eye Institute and his retina fellowship at the University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He joined the Ross Eye Institute in 2021 from the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Madow has spoken at several meetings nationally and internationally and has a special interest in retina imaging. He was also the founding director of the Uveitis Reading Center for Clinical Trials.

Kevin Donohue, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Kevin Donohue is the Ross Eye Institute’s newest Optometrist. During his residency at Cleveland VA Medical Center, he had over 1600 patient encounters diagnosing and managing dry eye, corneal infections, conjunctivitis, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinal vein/arterial occlusions. He also has experience in fitting soft contact lenses as well as specialty contact lenses for corneal ectasia, post corneal transplant and dry eye.
